Kenzie's Gift was the grateful recipient of a donation from this year's Round the Bays event held on 8 March in Auckland.
Eight charities shared in the $100,000 donation. Kenzie's Gift CEO Nic Russell (second from left) is seen here at the presentation receiving a cheque for $9,000 from Round the Bays organisers. "It's a wonderful donation for which we are so grateful," said Nic. "These funds will go a long way towards helping us to provide our services to children and families."

The Tauranga-based Boobops dragon boat team (see photo at right) has recently finished another successful dragon boating season, which included competing in the World Dragon Boat Breast Cancer champs in Sarosota, Florida in October 2014.

PINC & STEEL are really excited by the positive response they have had from women with breast cancer registering for their brand new Pinc NEXT STEPS program. They have funding from the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation for 10 women in each of the following regions: Orewa, Albany, Mt Eden, Hamilton, Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Napier, Welington, Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru, Dunedin and Invercargill.


Navigating your way through hereditary breast and ovarian cancer is proudly brought to you by The Gift of Knowledge. It will take place on 6th & 7th of March 2015, Riccarton Park, Christchurch.
The Gift of Knowledge was established in 2009 with the aim of providing information and support to people who are impacted by a genetic pre-disposition to breast and ovarian cancer.

The Breast Cancer Network NZ (BCN) is proud to present Jason Shon Bennett who is a self-cured health researcher, international speaker and best-selling author. Join them for an evening exploring health and nutrition for healing.
To be held at Domain Lodge, Cancer Society, 1 Boyle Crescent, Grafton, Auckland on Wednesday 22nd April from 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
A $10 donation on entry is kindly requested to cover costs.

Sweet Louise currently has 444 members, and since their launch in 2006, they have supported more than 1400 men and women with metastatic breast cancer. One of the key areas of focus this year has been family support.
Following a survey earlier this year, the Auckland bi-monthly Men's Group now have a speaker at each meeting, and this is appealing to more men supporting their family members with life threatening illness.

Over the last ten years, YWCA Auckland has delivered Encore, a free gentle exercise programme for women who have had breast cancer treatment, helping over 3,000 women from Kerikeri down to Invercargill. Participants have ranged in age from 29 to 91, and over 80 women have trained to become facilitators.
